Two India Plants Obtain BIS Licenses to Support Business Growth in India

Tsubaki Nakashima is pleased to announce that its manufacturing plants in Silvassa (India Plant 1) and Bhilad (India Plant 2), operated by its India subsidiary, TN INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, have obtained Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) licenses for Chrome Steel Ball.

The BIS is India’s National Standards Body, responsible for developing standards and certifying products to help ensure quality, safety, and reliability. Obtaining BIS licenses demonstrates that our products comply with applicable Indian standards and reinforces our commitment to manufacturing excellence and the highest levels of quality.

India has been identified as one of the key strategic growth markets in our Mid-Term Business Plan toward FY2029. As part of this strategy, we continue to strengthen our presence in the country through strategic investments, including the opening of a new sales office in Pune and an ongoing project to expand the India Plant 2.

The newly obtained BIS licenses further strengthen our ability to serve customers in India by enabling us to supply Chrome Steel Balls that are ready to meet upcoming Indian regulatory requirements. Together with our expanding manufacturing footprint, these licenses allow us to respond more efficiently to customers’ needs while maintaining the high quality and reliability they expect from Tsubaki Nakashima.

Guided by our Purpose, “Help the world to move by the power of precision,” Tsubaki Nakashima will continue to support customers’ success by delivering high-quality products, driving innovation, and contributing to keeping the world in motion.
