Students from Elementary School Visit our Katsuragi Plant in Japan

We were delighted to welcome second-grade students from Shinjo Kita Elementary School in Katsuragi City to our Katsuragi Plant as part of their local community study program.
The visit aimed to help the children learn about the different kinds of jobs in their community and gain a better understanding of people’s work.
Our employees introduced Tsubaki Nakashima and explained what kind of products we manufacture at the Katsuragi Plant, including precision balls, how these components are used in everyday products, and what kinds of jobs exist within the plant.
The students brought their notebooks and listened attentively, taking notes with serious and curious expressions.
After receiving a safety briefing, the students toured the plant guided by our employees. They observed the manufacturing process of precision steel balls, as well as inspection and packaging. Their fascinated faces and sparkling eyes left a lasting impression on all of us.
At the end of the visit, since it was just before Halloween, the children and employees enjoyed taking commemorative photos together— some even wearing handmade Halloween hats made by our employees. It was a cheerful day that brought smiles and energy to everyone involved.
Tsubaki Nakashima manufactures precision components such as precision balls and rollers, which are used in bearings incorporated into many familiar products—from cars and airplanes to home appliances and ballpoint pens.
We hope this visit helped the students discover the fascinating mechanisms that make the world move and understand that Tsubaki Nakashima’s products play a part behind the scenes.
We will continue to actively contribute to our local community through plant visits, school programs, and neighborhood clean-up activities.
